Counseling and Psychotherapy:

Psychotherapy, also known as counseling, is a general term that is used to describe the process of treating psychological disorders, mental distress and assisting an individual, family or groups during life changing events. During this process, a trained and licensed psychotherapist helps the client tackle a specific or general problem such as a particular mental illness or a source of life stress. Depending on the approach used by the therapist, a wide range of techniques and strategies can be used. However, almost all types of psychotherapy involve developing a therapeutic relationship, communicating and creating a dialogue and working to overcome problematic thoughts or behaviors.
Closed Eye Processing:

These are processes that allow you to be fully conscious in a relaxed state, in order to access the areas of the brain where habits, negative thought patterns and faulty beliefs about ourselves are formed and are still running. Dismantling them and creating new healthy ones for yourself becomes far easier and more permanent in this relaxed state.
Heart Centered Hypnotherapy:
As described in the video above by the founder of The Wellness Institute, Diane Zimberoff, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy uses closed eye processes and a series of guided visualizations to create relaxation and access to the subconscious mind. Clients are gently and safely guided to discover past connections to current issues, patterns and blocks, and enabled to release repressed emotions, change unhealthy beliefs, while making new, healthier life decisions. The work takes place in the subconscious mind where the original trauma(s) occurred, which allows healing and transformation to occur faster than traditional psychotherapy. This is a "fast track" to healing!

Therapeutic Breathwork or Breath Therapy engages all aspects of body, mind and Spirit in its approach to healing that uses specific breathing techniques designed to bridge the gap between the conscious and subconscious mind. Many clients experience a deeper sense of relaxation, heightened spiritual awareness and an improved sense of well-being. The three primary areas of benefit are: Body-mind therapy, Personal development and Spiritual connection and unfoldment.
